Personal InjuryPRC, Inc. is highly skilled in assessing a client's ability to engage in competitive work through a Loss of Earning Capacity. The evaluation encompasses taking a personal history, educational history, work history, medical history and an assessment of transferable skills, a determination of the need for and practicability of future vocational rehabilitation services and the cost of such services, if needed. An extensive and comprehensive battery of vocational and aptitude tests, including work samples are administered. A Personal Injury Loss of Earning Capacity Assessment details what percentage of jobs in the labor a client could perform prior to their injury, and what percentage of the jobs the same individual could perform in the labor market post injury.
Our Physical Capacity Questionnaire is completed by the treating or leading physician to document permanent functional and vocational limitations. This wage earning difference is then computed over the client's work-life expectancy and documents Lost Earning Capacity economic damages. The report includes all the exertional and nonexertional demands and characteristics required of work, and the worker's consequent vocational limitations in those areas.
