Workers' Compensation

The Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor can evaluate the need for and practicability of vocational rehabilitation services as well as an assessment of transferable skills. An assessment for the appropriate client can document and substantiate a Total Permanent Disability case and One Hundred Percent Economic Disability.

Referrals presently come from insurance companies, claimant attorneys and Judges at the Workers' Compensation Court. Oklahoma Workers' Compensation law now requires a Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluation prior to determination of Total Permanent Disability. Claimant attorneys should not have to depend on insurance company rehabilitation specialists when PRC is available to help. Insurance company attorneys and claim's representatives can expect to receive an honest, thorough and realistic appraisal of the worker's employability and rehabilitation potential.
